Those percentages that you have probably seen on other websites corresponded to a temporary deduction approved during the Recovery Plan years (Next Generation funds) that has not been renewed for fiscal year 2026. <\/p><p><strong>What&#8217;s left in 2026?<\/strong><\/p><p>In Catalonia you can apply the autonomous deduction for investment in the primary residence if the installation of aerotermia is part of a reform that improves the energy efficiency of the property. The percentage and limits depend on your specific tax situation.<br\/>What is still mandatory for any deduction &#8211; state or regional &#8211; is to have the energy certificate before and after installation, proving the improvement achieved. <\/p><blockquote><p>What is certain in 2026: IBI rebates (up to 50% for 5 years in many municipalities) and direct ICAEN subsidies are more predictable and do not depend on your personal income tax bracket.
