the meat and food processing industry, have a surface area of <strong>1,500 m\u00b2<\/strong> and a high demand for <strong>domestic hot water (DHW) for cleaning and processes<\/strong>, as well as <strong>air conditioning in offices and handling areas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Until 2023, the company used <strong>oil-fired boilers<\/strong> as its main source of energy, which resulted in an annual cost of <strong>\u20ac18,000<\/strong> and a considerable environmental impact.<\/p>\n\n<p>The challenge was clear: to <strong>find a more efficient, sustainable energy system with lower maintenance costs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-study-industrial-aerothermal-energy-as-an-alternative-to-diesel-oil\">The study: industrial aerothermal energy as an alternative to diesel oil<\/h2>\n\n<p>After a detailed analysis of consumption and thermal needs, a <strong>high-capacity industrial air-water aerothermal<\/strong> system was designed, capable of simultaneously meeting the needs of the plant:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>ACS for cleaning and production processes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Air conditioning of offices and work areas<\/strong>, ensuring stable comfort for personnel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In addition, <strong>large-capacity storage tanks<\/strong> were dimensioned to ensure the continuous availability of hot water at times of peak demand, which is essential in the food industry.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"installation-power-and-reliability-in-8-days\">Installation: power and reliability in 8 days<\/h2>\n\n<p>In a little more than a week, the installation was executed with the following elements:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Carrier 40 kW industrial aerothermal system<\/strong>, designed for high energy consumption applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>3 DHW accumulators of 500 liters<\/strong>, capable of guaranteeing a stable supply all day long.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ducted air conditioning system in offices and administrative areas<\/strong>, improving working comfort.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Progressive removal of the old oil-fired boilers, reducing the space occupied in the technical room.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Project data:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Duration of installation: 8 days<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Total investment: 56,000 \u20ac.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Industrial subsidy applied: 15,000 \u20ac.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"real-results-savings-and-sustainability-for-the-company\">Real results: savings and sustainability for the company<\/h2>\n\n<p>After the first year of operation, the results have been outstanding:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>70% reduction in energy costs<\/strong>, from \u20ac18,000 to \u20ac5,400\/year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lower maintenance<\/strong> compared to oil-fired boilers, which also reduces operating costs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reduction of 22 tons of CO\u2082\/year<\/strong>, improving the company&#8217;s carbon footprint.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Greater <strong>temperature stability<\/strong> in the handling areas, favoring both production and personnel working conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2
