In a residential area on the outskirts of Girona, the Puig-Mas family lived in a 210 m² single-family house with high energy consumption. The oil-based heating system and the electric air-conditioning system were costing more than €2,800 per year. Their goal was to find a solution that would reduce bills, improve comfort and use more sustainable energy sources.
The study: integral solution adapted to the house
After a technical visit and an analysis of the air conditioning needs, a high efficiency aerothermal system combined with underfloor heating for heating in winter and cooling in summer was proposed.
