State Aid for Self-Consumption

The Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan (funded by the Next Generation EU funds) offers subsidies for self-consumption installations. These include: up to €600/kWp for photovoltaic installations and up to €490/kWh for storage systems (batteries).

IRPF Deductions

At the state level, there is a tax deduction in the IRPF for the installation of self-consumption systems up to 20% of the installation cost. Applicable to those who carry out renovations to improve the energy efficiency of their primary residence.

Regional Self-Consumption Aid

Subsidies of up to 40% of the total installation cost. These aids may vary by region and are subject to specific calls. For example, Catalonia, Andalusia, or Valencia have active programs.

IBI Discounts

Some municipalities offer discounts on IBI payments for homeowners with photovoltaic installations up to 50% of the IBI for 4 years. This depends on each municipality, so it’s important to check the local regulations.

ICIO Discounts

Another municipal discount applies to the Tax on Construction, Installations, and Works, the tax paid for carrying out a project, up to 95% of the ICIO.
