Self-consumption installation
Project executed in Porqueres, consisting of an installation for self-consumption on the roof with a power of 140 kWp. This installation, made up of more than 308 photovoltaic panels, which will represent an annual saving of more than 46 tons of CO₂.
The structure of the panels consists of a combined support system between fixing to the facade and ballast. In this way, its fixing does not affect the asphalt mesh that protects the cover. To carry out this installation, an SMA brand inverter has been used .
Royal Protein Company
The promoter of the installation is Royal Protein (https://www.royalprotein.com/ ), a company specialized in the production of protein ingredients of animal origin for the food industry. Thanks to this installation, the company is saving a large part of the CO₂ emissions generated during its activity.
In addition, at the same time it cuts its energy expenditure considerably. The installation will allow them to repay the investment made in approximately 4 years, and have a photovoltaic system for more than 25 years. In addition, it guarantees an 85% return on its initial production.
